Big Daddy Abel in The Author's Spotlight

I have a unique viewpoint I think of the man known as “Big Daddy Abel”. I have been an observer of his Facebook wall, read some of his thoughts and feelings prior to his publishing the “Open Mic” series, and have been fortunate enough to have collaborated with him twice now on “The Jersey Shore Has Eyes” and our new release at the end of this week “The Edge of Cataclysmic” which is more non-fiction than fiction. Basically any of the fiction comes from me in part, even most of my stuff is real, kind of scary when you pause to think about it for more than a second or two.
Back to my unique viewpoint: The guy is 100% legit and genuine. He does actually wear his heart on his sleeve. One cannot fool that many people with his sincerity, dedication and perseverance. The man’s person is way taller than his actual physical being. To see him perform is a thing of beauty and wonder. He is up there on stage as large as life, gyrating and having a good time because he wants you to have a good time; he wants you to let loose and be drawn into his merriment and mirth. His band mates are just the same, amazing people, each and every one.
If you don’t believe me , well here is my suggestion: go to the Amazon link I have down here, check out the reviews the man has accumulated on Open Mic Volume One, all 47 of them, 44 five star reviews, the other 3 four star reviews :
Feel free to download the man’s heart-felt comments on everyday life and what he thinks; for $.99 a pop it is a no brainer, one can only feel enlightened, touched, and maybe smile much more at what lies ahead.
Also feel free to go to my archives on my blogtalk radio show, The G-ZONE, and listen in on the interviews we have done together. They are fun, spirited and will make you laugh out loud. Here is the links for the show; just browse the archives he is all over them, pick one out and listen in:
Here is a little on the man to get inside his head a bit more:
“Big Daddy” Abel wears his heart on his sleeve, and has his “real” heart in the right place. He lays himself emotionally naked for us to read, ponder and absorb. This is real, at times all too real. Be prepared; guard yourself, as “Big Daddy” takes you for a “real” ride into his real mind, real heart and real soul.
Hi.
Introductions may be in order, yes? Only proper thing to do I think. I am Big Daddy Abel. A singer, guitar player, & entertainer.Usually my "job" is to entertain. Getting people to laugh, dance and sing and just have a good fun time. However, at times... my mind goes beyond that. It goes a little deeper and sometimes, as I've been told, a little TOO deep, (I used to be a school teacher in my former life. Shhh! Don't tell anyone.) Thank you for giving/sharing your time here with "my thoughts". I hope you feel something positive on the other end of it all.
One of Big Daddy Abel favorite quotes “"So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future."
Here are some of his favorite bands/musicians: Van Halen (1976-1984), The Beatles, Aerosmith (1973-1989), The Black Crowes, Prince, Seal, Led Zeppelin, Butch Walker/The Marvelous 3, Stevie Wonder, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Alice in Chains, Love/Hate, Buckcherry, The Cure, George Clinton, Mozart, Electric Mayhem, The Soggy Bottom Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fishbone, Too Much Joy, Beethoven, the kid down the street learning guitar.”
